Torgerson’s LLC and affiliates collect personal data to conduct business and enhance website usage (web or mobile). This privacy policy is for visitors, users of our websites, applications (web or mobile), online products and services; current and future customers, management and employees of corporate customers, vendors, authorized dealerships and distributors, and any other recipient of our products and services. Collectively, we will refer to any individual whose personal data is used and processed in the following statement as “you”.

Torgerson’s LLC has products and services distributed through a network of authorized dealers and distributors, with the majority of them being independently owned and operated businesses with their own privacy statements.

Name, date of birth, signature, image, government identifiers, address, phone number, email address, demographic information, GPS location, social media profile, purchased services, products and equipment, account registration, response to surveys, and information given for use of our online services including our website.

Third parties may provide your personal information collected to us including authorized dealerships and distributors, suppliers, employer, credit reference agencies, law enforcement or governmental authorizers as well as insurance providers. If you purchase or rent goods or services on credit, we generally collect personal data about you from financial institutions, credit bureaus (to obtain a credit report), publicly available sources as permitted by law, and your employer to confirm your income details, and creditors to confirm your creditworthiness.

We follow applicable laws in connection with collecting sensitive or special personal data. We may also collect machine data that is generated by, collected by, or stored in products or equipment, or any hardware or device interfacing with products or Equipment.

Personal data from third parties may include data suppliers who help us better understand our customers such as social media sites (Facebook, X, Instagram, LinkedIn).

We process personal data to the extent necessary to process and fulfill contractual obligations to you to deliver goods and services you request, to assess your creditworthiness, to service and collect your account, respond to your related inquiries, process your feedback, and provide you with support. We also use personal data to maintain your access to related services and applications, and send you service communications regarding maintenance, availability, functionality or other matters.

FINANCIAL

Financial institution account numbers, credit/debit card information, financing and/or leasing information, transaction information including purchase and service histories, payments, claims and any complaints. Credit application information (income, occupation, financial statement information, current and historical account information, equipment and the dollar amount being financed, credit information and credit scores, property records you use to secure your obligation to us, proof of insurance information.

 

RELATIONSHIP

Relationship information such as business type, interests, job title, contact information, company and family details, employment history, property and farm, ranch or business information, details of accounts with us (purchases, customer accounts, warranty claims history, payment history).

 

COMPUTER, DEVICE, ONLINE SERVICE, INTERNET INFORMATION AND SOCIAL MEDIA

Activity tracked in our online services; log in username and password, date/time of visit and search history and details.

It enables our website to remember information about your visit, which makes it easier to visit our site again and makes our site more useful to you. Device identifier for any device used to access our online services including model, serial number and usage tracking.

Unique device identifiers include the hardware model you use and, in some cases, the location of that hardware while using our online services.

DATA SECURITY & RETENTION

Torgerson’s LLC maintains technical and organizational security measures, policies, and procedures designed to minimize the risk of accidental destruction, loss, or the unauthorized disclosure or access of personal information/data.

We store personal information if it is necessary to fulfill the need for which it was collected. We follow legal and regulatory requirements in storing personal information including for tax purposes or accounting purposes.

 

STATEMENT ON CHILDREN’S PRIVACY

Torgerson’s LLC applications, including our website are not directed to children or young people under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children or young people under the age of 18. If you have information or a belief that we are processing children’s personal information, you may contact us so that we may investigate and take appropriate action in data restriction.

PHONE SYSTEM (ZOOM) DATA SECURITY & USAGE

Torgerson’s LLC statement of usage, notice, and disclosure of how our business collects, uses, and shares our customer personal information when using our phone system (ZOOM).

 

POINT-OF-COLLECTION PRACTICES

We do not collect, use, share or sell any personal information related to your mobile phone information with third parties.

We use ZOOM features (attendee tracking, record meeting calls) and analytics data for internal business purposes only, to enhance and facilitate the training of our employees.

We are committed to prioritizing security over functionality and use the manual function that allows us to securely allow participants to join our ZOOM virtual meetings. The host of these virtual meetings is the only participant with the ability to share his or her screen. Torgerson’s LLC does not share links to ZOOM conferences publicly.
