Primary Purpose

This position supports employees across the organization by installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting computer systems, software, networks, and technology equipment. This role ensures the reliability, security, and efficiency of technology resources while providing exceptional customer service and technical support to help employees remain productive and connected.

General Description

We are a family owned and operated Agriculture and Construction Equipment dealer who has been in business for over 100 years; delivering the whole heavy equipment package to our customers; sales, parts, service, agronomy, and precision guidance.

We are in need of an Information Technology Specialist to join our employee support team. This position is an integral member of the Information Technology team in developing and maintaining the various computers, software, and networks via various methods including but not limited to setup of technology systems, troubleshooting, and maintenance. Assists with handling of hardware problems, system software updates, tracking of data, and communication methods used throughout our dealership complex. The successful candidate must have a strong work ethic with a passion for learning and customer/employee service.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Review diagnostics and assess functionality and efficiency of IT systems.
  • Assist with development, implementation, and maintaining security measures as directed.
  • Assist with monitoring security certificates and company compliance requirements.
  • Offer technical support to company staff and troubleshoot computer problems.
  • Installation and updates of company software systems and hardware as directed.
  • Assist with onboarding, transitions, and offboarding of employees as pertains to the IT department.
  • Assist with programming IT assets (laptops, cellphones, printers, etc.) for employees.
  • Assist with budgeting and reporting on the cost of replacing or updating computer items.
  • Assist with management of IT assets.
  • Assist with network infrastructure maintenance.
  • Assist with learning and development of employees.
  • Assist with coordinating technology installations, upgrades, and maintenance.
  • Assist with Domain and IT administration as indicated but not limited to;
    • Email
    • Calendar
    • SharePoint
    • Microsoft 365 Admin
    • Outlook
    • NetSuite
    • Windows and Linux
  • Assist with on-site maintenance and installations of equipment and infrastructure at various dealership locations as needed.
  • Other tasks and duties as assigned by management.
